Sunday Funday

Two Sundays ago, was my best friend birthday. And we spent the day in Williamsburg. First we had high tea at The Williamsburg Hotel and then drinks at The Ides rooftop at The Wythe Hotel. (guide for those coming soon!)

And it ended up being pretty hot in NYC so I knew I needed an outfit that would keep me cool but would also be formal enough for tea and then for rooftop drinks. And of course, I waited until that morning to decided what I was wearing. But I was SO happy because I remembered I had just bought the perfect shirt at Zara a few days earlier!

This incredibly adorable top has so many things about it that I love. First, I'm a sucker when it comes seersucker (haha), it also has amazing details on the straps and the ruffles on the front make this so fun. And it's only $40! (I could go on for days about this shirt). The sizing and the fit are a bit strange though. I am wearing a small and it runs a bit small. (its a good shirt to try on in store or buy two sizes to make sure you get the right one if you are ordering online).

My jeans are new and they have an incredible stretch and they fit like a glove. High wasted ripped white jeans are one of my favorite things to own so I am very picky when it comes to them. I am wearing a small. My shoes are a personal favorite and I have had them for a few years but I linked out the new styles of this shoe J.Crew sells below!

My round, tortoise shell sunglasses are a great budget find from Target! They look just like designers though! And I can't get mad if I break them! (best thing...everrrr) Finally! my favorite part of this outfit (beside my shirt) is my brand new purse! Only $50, this bag can store so much and not feel like it, its a great size, comes in two colors (and a larger version in white) and has great length chain straps. I have gotten so many compliments and sold so many people on this bag because its so worth it and it looks SO good with so many outfits. I would use it everyday if I could.
