Why:

Even though the wait was very long (over an hour and a half) it was worth the wait and the hype I was hearing/seeing on IG. We started out with a couple great cocktails and I tried the homemade hot apple cider (the last photo below) and it was pretty life changing! I love ciders and this one was a nice warm temperature but not too hot and had a perfect amount of cinnamon. I honestly wanted to order another to take home with me or 20.

When it came time to order our food it was simple. We had to try the Wild Maine Blueberry pancakes and the amazing Fried Chicken and Waffles. I had heard both were game changers and it was true. The pancakes were the fluffiest I had ever tasted, the blueberries tasted so fresh and it all melted in your mouth in the perfect way. The Fried Chicken and Waffles, was a great mix of sweet and savory with an awesome waffle crunch. Also, as a Eggs Benedict connoisseur and lover, I had to try Clinton Street Baking's out. Turns out they have become one of my favorite in the city. The ham was cooked just right with the touch of maple, the egg was poached to perfection, the hollandaise sauce was sweet with the perfect consistency and I fell in deeply in love with the buttermilk biscuit on the bottom. Finally, we also tried the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. And trust me with avocado, bacon, and chipotle mayo on a sandwich and a side of  killer fries you can't go wrong.

Go or GO Home?

Go! Even though the wait will be a while, go grab a coffee down the street while you wait. Everything we tasted was SO good and I need to go back to try the chocolate chunk pancakes and the brioche french toast! Have you been to Clinton Street Baking? What do you think?
