Holiday Invites 2019

It’s that time of year again! The leaves are changing, the temperature has cooled off and the feeling that the holidays are coming is here!

And this year, I decided I wanted to celebrate a little extra by sending out holiday cards!

As a Graphic Designer and Blogger, design is very important to me. And having options allows me to be my best creative. So, I was super happy when I found Basic Invite.

With hundreds of card options, 5 types of paper, over 180 colors and 3 foils to choose from, the world was my oyster. And I loved that through Basic Invite, I can change any element of my invite’s color! They also have an instant preview and free custom samples (yes, they will print and mail you a sample of what you plan to order to make sure it’s perfect!) so there is no guessing involved and everyones cards are perfect.

So when my friends and I decided to have our annual Friendsgiving, I thought it would be a great touch to make invites for it! For this invite, I loved their font choice so I didn’t change a thing there, I then chose a matte finish and an awesome pattern for the back!

Basic Invite has such great Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving cards that I know my friends and your guests will love.

So…after I created my Friendsgiving card, I decided to make my holiday and Christmas greeting cards!

As I mentioned before, I love to have options when I design. So to really be able to make custom holiday cards made this experience even more fun for me.

One thing I also really loved is how Basic Invite has lots of options for cards with photos and without.

This invite to the left, is one of there great photo cards. I chose a matte paper with a greeting from my family on the back!

I also got super excited about how I was able to not only design the back of the card but choose from over 40 colors of envelopes! I think that is a really nice touch and brings your cards for any occasion to the next level.

The card to the right is a great option for a non religious card, great for corporate sends. For this one, I chose smooth coated paper and a message on the back.

Finally, I am super busy and really don’t see myself having the time to address all the cards I want to send out. So I was thrilled to learn that Basic Invite offers an address capturing service! This service allows customers to share a link on social media to request their friends and family’s addresses. Then they can be inputed when ordering the cards! Also all this is free! (which is unreal to me!)

This experience was so fun for me that it made me want to have a Christmas party, just so I could make lots of Christmas party invitations. So who knows, maybe I will?

I am also super excited to share with you guys that Basic Invite gave me a code for 15% off you order! Just use the offer code: 15FF51 at checkout!

I hope this will make everyones holiday cards (and future card needs) easier and fun like it was for me!
