But First, Brunch at Tiny's and the Bar Upstairs

A few weeks ago, I started 2020 out strong by crossing off Tiny's and the Bar Upstairs from my brunch list. Of course it is still on my dinner list. (I have so many lists.)

It was easy to get a reservation on Open Table and we sat at a cozy corner in the front.

Tiny's and the Bar Upstairs has a great ambiance…warm, rustic and inviting. I knew the food was going to be good right when I walked in.

Ok so yes time for the good stuff…the FOOD!

For an appetizer we were torn between scones and biscuits, (though the warm drukin’ doughnuts sounded to die for as well). But we decided on the biscuits and wow was I happy. They were warm, flakey and melted in mouth mouth. All the things you would want from a good biscuit. Highly recommend.

For main dishes, (I went with two girlfriends so there was a lot to try and report back on!) We got the Hangover Rancheros (lol), Nutella French Toast and Loaded Egg Sandwich.

I have been on such a Huevos Rancheros kick recently, it’s starting to catch up to my brunch go to Eggs Benedict. And this one made my obsession even stronger. The egg was fluffy, tortilla was perfectly crispy and even had potatoes mixed within. It was delicious.

As you can see in the photo below, the Nutella French Toast looks out of this world. And for some might even make you think about liking your screen. Spoiler alert…don’t do it! Go have it IRL. Besides being full of Nutella, it comes with fresh berries and powdered sugar to take your food coma to the next level. You can’t go wrong here. Lastly the Egg Sandwich. With the bread perfectly toasted and a good egg to avocado ratio, we all felt very full leaving brunch.

For drinks, we got a bottle of Prosecco and a glass of OJ to make our own Mimosas. And has some amazing French Press coffee.

What a way to kick of 2020. With one hell of a brunch at the perfect place! Make sure to check out Tiny's and the Bar Upstairs next time you are hungry!
